Working with Mosaics

Class meets on two consecutive Saturdays (October 12 from 10am-1pm and October 19, from 10-noon).

This two-session workshop teaches you all the basic steps for making mosaics using the direct method. In the first session, you will learn how to design mosaics, cut and shape glass tiles, and adhere them to a wooden substrate. In the second session, you will learn to grout your mosaic, adding strength and beauty to your artwork. I will guide you through the entire process, step by step, as you create a one-of-a-kind, 8” cross for your home.
