Ages 13+

In this introductory, beginner-friendly class, students will learn essential gouache painting techniques and create their very own mini landscape painting from start to finish. Class instruction includes learning about different types of paint and pigments, understanding types of surfaces and brushes, how to take care of brushes, basics of color theory and color mixing, water/pigment ratios, brush techniques such as layering, blending, and texture, and the power of impressions.
